ROGER SCHMIDT

Director (of studies)

Rev Roger Schmidt is Lutheran pastor and has as director of studies overall responsibility for the collegium oecumenicum. He organizes and coordinates together with the team the semester program, accompanies the students pastorally and keeps in contact with the Munich universities as well as the partners around the world. Schmidt was himself exchange student in the USA and worked as program executive of the Lutheran World Federation (Geneva, Switzerland) with youth and young adults around the globe.

CHARLOTTE MERGET-FELL

Academic tutor

Charlotte Merget-Fell is an academic tutor at Collegium Oecumenicum. As such, she is the contact person for the scientific interests of the students, organizing learning and working groups. She also supports the students with general and administrative issues and is involved in the organizing and planning of the semester program. She studied Protestant theology in Munich and Leipzig. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD in systematic theology in the field of ethics at LMU. She lives at Collegium Oecumenicum since October 2017.

PROF. DR. DAVID DU TOIT

Ephorus

Prof. Dr. David du Toit is ephorus of the Collegium Oecumenicum and member of the board. Dr du Toit has been professor for New Testament with the specialization of Greek-Roman culture at Munich university since 2008. He lived in the collegium oecumenicum as a student in 1989/1990 and was academic tutor 1992-1995. As ephorus, he keeps contact with the Department of Protestant theology at the Munich university. He is especially interested in the integration of international students and in strengthening the contacts of the collegium to its alumni.
